Gas-tight VASF and SV series

VARIAIR side channel blowers with frequency inverter are ideal for uniform gas flow and circulation (extraction and recirculation) of protective gas, as well as for pneumatic powder transport with protective gas. These contactless turbo dynamic blowers are gas-tight with a proven leakage rate of <1x10-5 mbar l/s. This prevents oxygen from entering, no inert gas is lost and the atmosphere remains of consistently high quality. Furthermore, they operate completely wear-free and maintenance-free.

Single stage blowers

higher flow – less pressure

With single-stage blowers, the air rotates once inside the housing via both impeller sides before being suctioned off. This two-stage operation results in a higher volume flow.

Double stage blowers

less flow – higher pressure

By means of an internal deflection of the air from the first to the second impeller side, in the case of double-stage blowers the air rotates twice inside the housing before it is suctioned off. This single-flow operation results in a higher pressure.

VARIAIR is a combination of a side channel blower and a frequency converter, giving you the benefit of an extended performance range up to 100 Hz for SV and 300 Hz for VASF, without affecting the blower dimensions.

 

The frequency inverter regulates the motor speed variably, adjusting it precisely to customer requirements. Energy consumption is optimised and constant pressure is guaranteed even with varying or fluctuating demand. This ensures maximum efficiency and saves energy costs. Electronic monitoring of the blower parameters ensures reliable operation and prevents damage caused by excessive currents and temperatures.
